甲酯中毒及毒性

甲酯虽然不属于《危险化学品名录》(2002版)中的危险化学品，但属于剧毒化工品，具有易燃特性，刺激人的眼睛、呼吸系统和皮肤，接触不慎有致命危险，出现过致人死亡的案例。避免人体直接接触，接触时应穿戴适当的。甲酯是一个重要的含氟化合物，在染料、医药、农药等工业领域有着广泛的用途和发展前景。在医药工业酯是一个重要的医药中间体，是制备氟代嘧啶类抗肿瘤药物和氟喹诺酸类抗菌药物的起始原料，属于剧毒化工品，接触不慎有致命危险。
